October 21, 200321 yr depends on what's causoing the issue. I had a similar problem when I didn't pay enough attention during an upgrade, and put my CPUfan on upside down...whenever the proc got a heavy load on it, the whole comp would lock up because of heat issues. locking, as opposed to crashing, is often a heat issue with CPU or graphics card proc...but it can have other causes...check the physical first, then start looking for the logical (dataflow) causes.
