March 7, 200520 yr Try getting the latest version of fraps. You can then record the demo or the parts you want and it saves it as a nice avi file. as far as i know there is no program that will open a dem out of game.
March 7, 200520 yr Author That worked, but the problem is that only recorded 30 seconds each time before it stopped. The whole vid was about 10 minutes. :( Is there a way to get more record time? Thanks.
March 7, 200520 yr Put all your details at maximum, and resolution at 640 x 480 or 800 x 600, whatever yer preference is host_framerate 30 (frame raste for movie to record) playdemo demoname (play demo, duh) startmovie moviename (to start recording to screenshots) endmovie (when done) this will dump out tga image files as well a wav file (doesnt seem to always work) and you can use a program like v-dub to encode the images to avi, use divx or preferably xvid
