Cops are generaly power-hungy assholes playing the alpha male. And a cops word is worth more than an ordianry citizen.

 

Do you relize how many "deaths in custody" there are every year? A fuck load more then those that reach the news.

The cops I've met are generally not assholes, only the highway patrol. I don't know what kind of dicks are knocking on your door, but here in CO we don't have powerhungry assholes knocking on doors. I doubt you've ever even been talked to by a cop before, just ran from them scared cause they're "the man" and you're too busy trying to hop the fence and run like a pussy cause your friend told you about this one time this thing happened to this friend of his that would totally make you hate cops forever MAN!

 

The only exception to this rule I've ever seen is Boulder police. They don't fuck around. Tear gas in the face if you get uppity, and mace just for seasoning before they book your ass.
