Techno_Warrior']saving private ryan was the most innacurate piece of shit movie ever. If you're a serious war movie buff that movie would be the bottom of the barrel along with the rest of hollywood produced crap.

how is it innaccurate?

Although not war related persay, "Goodbye Lennon!" was a good movie depicting post war West Berlin at the fall of communism in the late eighties. Its in German but English subs are available. Dont know if theres an NTSC version of it, copy I saw was an EU PAL copy.
OldManPeterson']Actually it still shows him as a madman. Guy had serious mental issues towards the end of the war and this movie shows that.

I know it shows him as a madman, because he probably was a madman who had mental issues in real life, they don't make those things up. There are also a few scenes where they show Hitler as a human being though (the one where his new secretary has to type the letter).

And whoever said Black Hawk Down was a good warmovie? The movie was crap, nothing but US Army propaganda.

its called der Untergang.. and it's just Anti-german propaganda.. Nazis are bad mkay?

ur nazi's are cool attitue does not make u cool, die in a fire. although i haven't seen the movie yet, its accurate and not fucking propaganda.

u must have been one of the people who whined about the fact tiger turret was mounted on t34 body, Saving private ryan is a great movie and it has realism apart from the fact they don't die in the middle of the movie, what kind of fucking story would that be.

another nazi move, this is sure gonna heat things up. you know a german in these days are considered to be involved with the holocaust, and every arab considered a terrorist, usa gives israel money, if it wasn't for the usa protecting israel they would be 100% fucked, trust me.

nobody cares what your dad tells you during dinner, u're one of those I KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN THE WORLD fags. bet you also think usa is gay because the rest thinks so

Goodbye Lenin is a good movie indeed but most of the people on these boards will be like wtf wheres the action. good movie but has nothing to do with topic.

Jedi Pimp']Not a movie released in theaters but I would have to say that the Band of Brothers series ranks up their as my favorite war picture to watch' date=' even more so than S.P.R.[/quote']

Band of brothers is indeed in my eyes one of the best war movies/series, good acting and effects.

the longest day was a nice total image of whole invasion but needed more effects /blood and especcialy realism. nobody is gonna take 2 patrols walking 1 meter from eachother serious, that scene was fucking gay.

this turned into a big post indeed, i like war movies.

LKOL BLACK HAWK DOWN? That movie is the most americanistic piece of shit ever.

Saving Private Ryan, quite innacurate, only famed for the opening 20 minutes.

My favourites would have to be the BOB Series(amazing), FMJ, The Longest Day, Apocalypse Now, and Where eagles Dare(classic clint eastwood).

I saw that, too. It was alright

edit: it's LennIN not lennon. lennon was one of the beatles.
