It is only the grafitti community that will "embrace" other artists. That does not mean its going to be accepted by the skateboarder or the wigger or any other community. Not everyone is into the grafitti hobby. I do agree that the concept of being on someone's 'turf' is idiotic. The only way I would justify that the grafitti artists was on their turf if the grafitti guy was either on their block, marking up one of their houses, or a business that either their parents or friends owned.
