I'm looking for a program to cut off 30 second clips from a 700 meg AVI (divx) movie

get divfix. it remakes the index thing at back of movie and deletes corupt frames.

use nero and over burn it... just dont overburn by like 50 megs over the limit

i want to cut clips, it's a working movie ffs, just wanna cut off good segments, you know, like in movie trailers.

Works great for adding and deleting frames.....If you havn't edited Films much, it is a bit advanced, but well worth the effort it learning.

Premier doesn't have a codec for DivX, though, does it?

 

I know it works for standard formats, even .swf and .rpv, but I've never seen a DivX or VOB codec plugin for it...
