ed2k is no comparison to bittorrent, which I swear by, and has 1/3rd of the internet. That means 1/3 is e-mail, and a portion of the other 1/3 is part HTTP/other p2p programs.

bittorrent is slow. plus i dont think you should just use ONE program.

 

i actually use, in addition to soulseek, bittorrent, IRC, and limewire.

For JUST music i do believe soulseek is hands down the best. I have used it for about 2 years and they have really improved. If your connection is shit then dont download it. You can only download from one host at a time, but i have gotten some downloads to get over 100kb which is fast for downloading music. Download a whole cd in a few. The one thing i really like about soulseek. Once you type in the artist it seems like it searches by cd/album so it shows the whole album. thus making it a lot easier to download.
any one who says klite doesnt DL recent music. klite is swapped with millions of fake song files.

stop making shit up. theres no way you can know that bittorrent has more files because there's different servers around the world. I doubt you constantly probe every possible ip address to see if its running a bt tracker, then see how many files are on each one. you're just saying bt owns because you dont know how to use ed2k efficiently.

If you knew how to use BT, you could efficiently download at 200kbs, against eD's 50-100kbs.

Noone really cares to be honest. It all depends on what musical taste you have because certain programs are more efficant for specific music styles. So since the whole thing is based on opinion, I suggest it be ended.
