They officially advertise themselves as a 'rager clan' via their website, http://www.myg0t.com, whose purpose is to deliberately antagonise other online gamers. [edit] Tactics Most prominently active in the Counter Strike community, 'mygot' has been seen active in Unreal Tournament, Quake III, and Medal of Honour communities as well. mygot typically will send a 'scout' using a alias onto a server to discern its anti-hacking protections. Typically this consists of requesting for the presence of an administator. If no administrator is immediately available, mygot will flood the sever with 2-4 members and immediately focus on disrupting play. Their tactics consist of, but are not limited to, the following: * Team killing (if friendly-fire is on) * Using flashbangs to disrupt teamplay at the start of the game * Use of hacks (in Counter Strike, this includes aim-bot, wallhacking, speed-hacking) * Flooding voice audio channels with noise * Flooding text message / console with spam text (e.g. "MYGOT PWNED THIS SERVER") mygot typically focuses their efforts on the most prominent online servers, targeting those with 24+ players. Their intent is to ensure the failure of the online server, either through forcing the server to crash (through hacks / floods) or making gameplay as futile as possible, eventually clearing the server out of all players due to frustration. Although mygot players typically achieve ridicuously high scores through use of their hacks (e.g. 72-1, 90-0) they rarely express pride in this achievement.
