They never actually played on my server, but I did my homework after a member from this forum named "echos" claimed to have played in a Texas server under that name, I did a little search and found him and this other guy too, and then added their steamid's to my banlist manually. Had I not I wouldn't have been able to scan YOUR PC behind it (local IP 192.128.24.28, with two week IP leasing subroutine set up from the minimum pool of 50 that those routers will allow you to configure without altering the "administration software", such as it is...I'll admit whoever set it up did the best they could with the poor quality shit they had, out of the box) Had I not managed to query properly, I wouldn't have been able to identify listening ports, as the router would have let traffic IN through the firewall, but wouldn't have responded on its own. You only get port responses when you successfully get passthrough. Just as an FYI, the onboard stuff you can get with a lynksys is shit...there are tools all over the web designed specifically for cracking (or "bridging") past them. BTW, I wouldn't have been able to identify 135 or 445 from outside, had the lynksys firewall been effective, as there's no home networking equipment out there that allows 135, 139, 445, or 546 to show through, as they are used by various popular OSs for exploitable, but required functions (135 is RPC internal check loopback for XP and NT systems, and 445 is associated with XP's servicehost.exe netservices, 139 is used by ME/9X, and 546 is a MAC service) Tell you what...you want further proof? YOUR machine is running XP with SP1 manually installed with the SP1 crack that allows it to be used with "hijacked" keys. One of the other comps on that network was a totally legit XP install with SP2 on it, and windowsupdater actively running. By the way...a hijacked and publicly shared account can be used by ANYONE who has the e-mail addy and password associated with it, which is at least several hundred people, when talking about the ID I recognized...and once logged into an account, you can use any name you like. Echos may very well have been using that key (or that name)...I don't know him from Adam, and don't really care...except to mention that any worthwhile rager scams and collects multiple keys, out of habit (makes ban avoidance easier). I've got some 200 that are still useable (not VAC banned), myself.
