Posted May 20, 200519 yr I read about this in the paper (and i dont care if anyone flames as i find it pretty interesting) about supposedly theres only about 50 people on the whole planet who have these abilities - they are known as super savants - there are many savants, but only about 50 "super" savants a few examples of their abilities well one man called Daniel Tammet - speaks 7 languages - learnt to speak fluent icelandic in 3 days - so much so that he could go on their national tv and conduct an interview - can read a book page in 8 seconds, then never have to read it again (but can recall that page at any time, rember it for any moment in his life) - he was asked to work out 37 x 37 x 37 x 37 x 37 - and he worked it out in about 3 seconds - he can work sums such as 13 divided by 96 faster than somone on a calculator and to about 32 decimal places (more than any calculator can show) - playing blackjack once in a casino - the only casino game whereby you can turn the odds in your favour - however to work out the odds takes a maths genius and usually a team of people to cheat anhow, unfortunately the casino knew he was coming - and so only let him play with fake money -- oh, using his maths sense, and working the odds - he placed three 21's in a row - netting him $25,000 "play" money after reading books he can discuss any event, on any day, at any time And on top of all this?? he cant drive a car, he cant wire a plug and cant even tell his left hand from his right hand thats because people with these amazing abilities are autistic anyway my point is - if i was someone like that - i would red like book after book, after book - then id go on something like who wants to be a millinaire -- you just owuldnt lose! lol -- and id also go to a casino, when they dont know im coming - and win fucking everything i would also probably learn all of the terrorist languages so that i could get a job say at mi5 (where they pay something like $5,000 for EACH language you can speak - thats a use to them, as well as $40,000 odd a year....) but hey, even then if i won who wants to be a millionaire why bother! but most of teh fags with this condition say shit like "its not fair, its unethical, its cheating" fuck all that shit id want a million pounds! http://www.guardian.co.uk/weekend/story/0,,1409903,00.html

May 20, 200519 yr Author I think it would be great to know another language, let a alone a hard language like icelandic (not that it would be much use) , especially in 3 days! but for the moment my language speaking stops at bonjour oh and "oui"
May 20, 200519 yr I wouldnt like to learn another langauge id rather be born with the knowledge I also would like to be the way i am i wuddnt want to be autistic coz i watched a documentry that the BBC made about autistic people and it seemed to be a pain in the ass...as they have amazing abilities but it wont get them far in life as they usually have problems else were like not being able to tell your right hand from your left.. and being unsocialble I feel sorry for autistic people
