Posted June 14, 200519 yr Below is a list from threads in our forums, for tips on how to have fun raging other players in BattleField 2 [demo], for the most part consisting of team killing/wounding in Friendly Fire on AND off servers (many servers have FF turned on). While some are more obvious than others, I'm listing all of them for those of you who are impaired: - Be a medic and teamkill the person, revive, kill, revive, kill, repeat until person leaves the server as theres not much they can do. - The good old car bomb trick if FF is off AND vehicle FF is off, this is good cuz the explosion from the vehicle will kill them instead of counting as a TK. - Land on top of your team, in a plane. Yes it's a lot harder to fly than the BattleField 1942 ones but with some practice you can start wingclipping people again in no time. - On runways have a tank standing beside the runway, When someone is taking off drive into their path and get out of the vehicle, instant death for them. - On the boat, go on the gunner at the rear and kill all the planes and choppers so nobody can use them ever. - Fill a heli full of people and hover at the edge of the map until they either commit suicide or try to swim away only to find out they cant make it that far. - Snipe your team from distant locations if FF is turned on. - Damage your team and make them kill you so they get kicked/banned. - Radio spam. - Order artillary on your own spawn on the hangar ship - Do a drive-by bomb for this one; you put some explosives on your car then drive to someone near and the second you get out of the vehicle blow it up, if you live it's even funnier. - Camp the railgun on the chopper and mow down all your teammates, a lot of servers don't have TK punish. - Request a pickup or back up! Then and when they get there kill them (this one pisses them off, since they went out of their way to help you). - Take the little boats off the carrie, fill them up with people and drive to edge of the map and just sit there. - Crash a plane into your team but jump off before and you don't get the TK's counted against you. - Camp the carrier and when you see the Uboats leaving shoot the boat, but only when its about halfway out. Then they will have to swim but wont make it since its too far. It's funny to see them try to make it. - Start random vote kicks and accuse people of hacking, basicly they will stop playing the game trying to defend themselves. - Take the tank and put it in the repair area and destroy those planes so nobody ever gets to use them. - Heli-flipping: Take the heli and go as high as you can OVER WATER, so you can manage a flip without crashing. When you flip, all the passangers will get scared and jump out. Being over water, they can not swim back to shore in time and will drown, while you fly back to pickup another load. - Shotgun TK: Walk behind, fire, instant death. - Standing on top of a heli and jumping infront of planes so they get a TK against them and you can get them banned. - Drive a car and when your about to run a guy over, press "e" so you get out. it doesnt count as tk and they get very angry and kill you the next rounds so you can ban them. - Use the missile battery to shoot down all planes that tries to take off from the hangar. - Follow your teams snipers around and don't let them see you, when they have found a decent spot, sneak up from behind and put a claymore mine right behind them and leave. - When you are spawning - run to get the jeep (many people want a ride instead of running) - use the horn to indicate that you will give them a ride, but drive away a little faster so they run right behind you and can't catch the ride. - As axis: spawn as sniper and climb all the way up the ladder on the big building, place a claymore mines right at top. If you want to get down - use the small ramp and jump safely down in the pool. - In a non-FF server: spawn as Special Ops Class then select the c4 weapon, while people are waiting around for the choppers plant lots of c4's at there feet because its a non ff they probaly just ignore it but when you you blow it up even though its a non-ff server it will launch them so high that thy will die from the fall. This works most of the time but they have to be pretty close to the c4's. - Choose "special ops" class and mount a few explosive charges to the transport helicopter (it carries around 6 people).
June 14, 200519 yr Easiest way to rage ppl is to just apply for commander first because mostly people dont want the responsibility of that position. After you become commander, call in arty on your team, call a uav outside of the combat zone, dont do scans, and keep ordering your men to attack their own positions. Some n00bs WILL do it.

June 15, 200519 yr I'm glad those fucktards at EA haven't figured out the best rages yet, idiots.. Try this, I need to go to sleep. Pick up a jeep / hummer and drive into planes whenever they are trying to take off, ejecting 1-2 seconds before collision. If TK punish is on, somebody will get whipped by the server and you just die. Do it enough and the fuckers will get kicked.
June 15, 200519 yr I discovered this for FF servers today: As an Iraqi spawn at the runway and get into the tank and block in one of the airplanes about to take off. Eventually you can get right underneath it and both of you will explode, giving him the teamkill penalty. According to the game JET > TANK. If you load up the tank and have people standing underneath or near the plane you can get people kicked really fast. This works the best when it happens to be a clan member on a clan server.
June 15, 200519 yr - Sit inside an important vehicle, making sure no one can destroy the vehicle, and no one can use. Works best if you are using an airplane. - Set landmines over the runway strips in non-tk servers, making sure they swerve and try to avoid getting blown up.
June 15, 200519 yr Block the central reservation of the mec spawn with t90, but thats old. This isnt a rage, but its funny as fuck. Get a BMP or a Patriot, and drive out to the carrier as leader of a full team. Get them to spawn on you, then sneak up to the flightdeck. 1 person sneaks into the antiaircraft railgun, and you can completely ruin the entire game for them, as long as people on land can kill people.

June 18, 200519 yr Get a friend and tell him to be medic, you get support class. Take the 2 slots plane and bail out at USMC spawn, start spawn-camping with "unlimited" ammo and health

August 8, 200519 yr I didnt see this one listed... I saw someone doing it...so i joined in and I wished I'd thought of it first. Jump on top of blackhawk propellers and lie down. Lots of people run for the blackhawk & pile in.... only to find out it wont start up or be able to take off cuz you are on top. They'll usually get pissed and jump out and fire some shots at you thinking that'll make you move. After a couple people bitching... a few more will jump out to fire some shots at you and eventually someone is gonna get a TK. And if the blades DO start up.... i'd figure you are TK'd that way too (bud didnt see that happen any times) get a couple people up there with you. People start gettin HOT!

I think of it like this; The little kiddies who actually play the game right and complain about people like us who tend to fuck up their games are just jealous, because we're having more fun. I've never laughed my ass off so hard playing the game normally as i do when i deliberatly kill 6 guys in my heli and don't get 1 tk out of it.
August 31, 200519 yr My game from 15 mins ago: A friend and I played as medics, went to OOB zone and point farmed for a while, after we were over 100 points above everyone else, people started coming to see what we were doing. The first two we just shot cos we had so many points it didn't matter, the third person we made go about 3 pixels ito the OOB zone, then stood infront of him to stop him getting back in, he went insane cos all we were doing was standing infront of him til he died, stupid fool... didn't think to turn around, just kept running on the spot jumping... lol He then came back after he'd died cos we were still there and tried to shoot us, similar scenario, I ran around the back of the building, he followed, but there was a trail of med packs put down for me by my m8, he died, i died, m8 revived me and we jumped up and down on his corpse to celebrate, then continued. Eventually this guy joins our squad so he can spawn on me... as if trying to prove a point he gets his knife out and tries to knife us... we tried the "run around building to get n00b killed" trick but this time it didn't work, seems he had learned his lesson, so we got a classic rage going, I knifed him, m8 killed him, repeat. He left shortly after that... but oh the laughs that were had were unbelieveable, quotes like; "I'll come to ur houses u fucking dumasses!!!!1!" and "LET ME SPAWN IM ADMIN HERE!!!11" at the end of the round I finished with 168 points, my m8 had 124... good times... Hope this has inspired some more creative n00b-abuse. Guras
