June 20, 200519 yr It's only the GF4 Ti series. They dont support shader technology, whatever the hell that is. Perhaps another backstabbing business tactic to sell more ATI cards. Apparently, you can force it to work by emulating the shader technology in software rather than the card (no idea how to do this), but this will make the game unplayable. In short, GF4Ti owners are fucked. Me included. :(

June 20, 200519 yr Yeah. The Ti series is fine. It's the mx series that shouldn't really be called a "GF4" at all. They SUCK. An mx compared to a Ti is like a Celeron compared to a P4, except worse. The shader engine is disabled, so they can sell a lower priced part and call it an mx. Great marketing gimick.
