I have just inherited this vintage gibson guitar.

Not sure what year it was made. serial# 8074H

The 'H' is what's throwing me off here.

If it had just 8074, it would be easy enough to identify.

Anybody want to take a shot at what year it can be??

Yea I know...but I figured there might be some guitar players here that may know.

no clue...but gibson would be able to identify it...it's old enough to be pre-stamp-manufacture, judging by that serial, so it's one of the old handbuilts, most likely.
Is it just me or are more and more Mygot members being booted from this wonderful(yeah right!) organization?

Yeah, go to your local music store and they'll be able to check it out and determine what year it is since they usually have access to databases about used music gear(Kinda like the books you use for cars to determine worth.)

Make sure you go to a licensed Gibson dealer though...

i play guitar you need to post a pic, of it ,personally i dont like gibsons. :(
