Posted June 22, 200519 yr I am getting a black screen when I open bf2, but it doesn't crash.. I hear the audio of that ***got kid saying 'EA GAMES ... challenge everything' and then I can hear as my cursor goes over top of buttons and makes the blip sound. When I ctrl alt dlt out, i can see the menu for less than a second before it minimizes out. I've played in the demo a few times, but when it does this black screen shit i have to reboot the computer so I can play again. i got a radeon x800xt
June 23, 200519 yr Meh, I have an XT, too. I get a blue screen after 5 minutes of gameplay, I turned down graphics settings, but the full version is working fine for me. Go buy it you fucking cheap bastard.

July 12, 200519 yr I had a similar prob . What I did was uninstall my ATI Drivers and Catalyst . Deleted the ATI folder and clean installed the newest Ati Drivers + catalyst and my BF2 works fine now.
