i really dont care anymore.Stop trying to sound fucking awesome because you know how to filter packet strings k, it's not that i don't know anything about what i'm doing, i know about packets and what they do. I just don't know this particular piece of software, and i really don't feel like reading all of the help on it. It's fucking long if you look at it. Besides, can you only do this if they log in using hslw? if so it's not even worth it.

you're looking for rcon_password though...and you gotta catch the packet it updates the field in...which only happens when someone logs into rcon, or disconnects from it.

hey, I used this a year ago but I have a few questions:

 

is there a way to just specify specific packets (for example only find the correct type of packet) or should you just filter for rcon later?

 

also, should you filter for "rcon" as a string? and will it automatically display in non-ascii or do you have to specify that?

Its sooo simple and I'm doing this bug for 2 years now.

 

Heres a Tutorial, how to hack a rcon:

 

1. Download Ethereal Packetsniffer -> http://www.ethereal.com/distribution/win32/

 

2. Install it

 

3. Open Ethereal Packetsniffer

 

4. Capture -> Start -> Filter: udp

 

5. Go on a server

 

6. while u are on the server tell an admin that someone is spamming the chat or that someone is teamkilling all. If ure lucky, the admin connects to the server with HLSW.

 

7. If the admin connect to the server through HLSW, u can leave the server and stop the capture.

 

8. Filter: udp contains rcon

 

9. Now u have the uncrypted rcon password.

 

10. If u dont understand this, ure a fucking noob!
