My mate had a pipe leading from a bar-fridge to his pc case (screwed to the wall) with a fan attached at the PC end to suck the cool air from the fridge. The pipe angled slightly upwards so the condensation dripped back into the fridge. His motherboard died eventually, but it was an old one and a good experiment. It fucked the fridge too though as we had to go through the front door, and couldn't patch it up properly afterwards.
June 27, 200519 yr Thats pretty cool, but I wonder if that actually would work, it isn't directing the air flow anywhere it is just blowing air over it. To really get a component to cool down you need to have the air directed over the device, not the whole computer. w00t!: Rifk at the fridge incident.
