July 4, 200519 yr I wasn't satisfied with this movie. The book was so much better even though it isnt a very large book. The movie just didn't do it justice.

July 5, 200519 yr I thought it was good but some people are just so stupid, they say it flat out at the end how they died from the earth's bacteria (not the human's) Also there is no way this could have a sequel because there is no room for it, i think the rest of the landing crew knows when the other aliens got fucked over.  The ending was very rushed and non-conclusive. BTW the red things all over the ground are human veins i think to prepare for the rest of the aliens to land and get their food.  P.S. Anyone else think striders from HL2 copied off these (if they were in the first version) even the sound they make are almost identical....strange P.P.S. AIDS would have zero effect on them because they already dont have an immune system to our planet....well i guess you could say they had AIDS to begin with (Advanced Immune Defficiency Sydrome...no immune system)

July 5, 200519 yr doesn't follow the book. Only thing that's closely related in the book is: 1) Guy hides with psycho in basement (in book wasn't wif family) 2) Humans get wtfpwnt by aliens 3) Disease/bacteria wtfpwnt the aliens 4) The boat is iffy, in the book a strider goes after a boat, but a ironclad wtfpwns the strider that's about all I can think of that's related between book and movie. Also, if thsese stupid aliens can make fucking big ass Death-Rays-Of-Doom, why the fuck didn't they invent a HEPA filter or sometthing like that.
July 5, 200519 yr I haven't read the book mostly because im not a reader the only time I read is when there is a message on my computer screen or something im interested in. But there was the goods and bads of the movie but like I said before some of the acting could of been better and the little girl screaming the whole damn time makes it so that the people that payed money to come see this film not enjoy it. I looked around behind me and no one was happy with this movie and they said it was a shitty because of the one girl that wouldn't shut the fuck up
