Posted July 4, 200519 yr Im sure some people here already know this or figured this out, and if it's already posted oh well, but. Me and my friend came across a very easy way to exploit your rank and get points. Here's a simple way to up your rank and get massive ammount of points every game. Me and my friend each got 250 each round for about 10-15 rounds last night, we're almost Corporal rank already just from doing this. Not only does it up your rank, but upsets the entire team and makes them go "WTF HOW DO YOU HAVE SO MANY FUCKING POINTS YOU HACKER" etc etc. And they have no fucking clue how you're doing it. 1) Get a friend to do this with you. Join the same team and both go support. 2) Go to a secluded area of the map, preferably in a shelter of sorts, so you can't get Arty'd. 3) Have one person throw grenades, and one person keep throwing ammo bags onto them, you get a point for every ammo bag thrown. Simple...I'm sure this will be patched sometime soon, so abuse the fuck out of it. If you really wanted to you could get like thousands and thousands of points a day...Upset all the hardcores going for the high rank and score in servers. Anyway. If you already knew this great, if not have fun. Yes, im aware this has no pictures. However, unless im completely blind, im not seeing a topic with this information anywhere.
July 4, 200519 yr nice! another cool thing that you can do to make your ingame name orange (its so easy to convince ppl that your on the EA staff this way too) is 1.)Create a new account 2.)You have to put this infront of your name (without the quotes) "|Cyphe" so your name looks like this "|CypheNameYouWant" 3.)Join a server and your name should be in orange and your kills will be labled in orange too
July 4, 200519 yr there is no command line to change your name because your name holds your rank and stats so you have to keep your name the way it was when you regestered it...oh and BTW did that "rank exploit" last night with a friend lol we each had 543 points after 1 round it was amazing great find

July 5, 200519 yr You could do it with the medic. 3 people; one enemy, two team mates. Enemy knifes or shoots your team mate, kills him then you revive him. Keep doing it over and over again. You can do it with the mechanic as well i spose get somone to keep shooting the vehicle, then you give them ammo and fix the fucking car. Try em out
July 5, 200519 yr Quote MasterVampire']fucking nice bro where did u find that out? and can u do any other stuff like that? yeah ill be looking for other stuff like this :) i found it out by asking some guy on a server who had his name in orange. he said that he found it out by accident (beats me) ill look and see if i can find different colors. also another good thing about this is that if someone stole the name you want you can use just use the "|Cyphe" thing

One person gets points at a time, and you just keep switching lets say..Every 100 points or so. I stopped doing the support thing and just went around doing the Medic/Knife rage, because it's a lot more fun.
July 19, 200519 yr I fucked around with this colored name thing a bit and it seems that if you start your name with "|C" and then any 4 letters or numbers then whatever is after will be orange. So its like this: "|CxxxxMYNAME" where xxxx is anything you want will get MYNAME in game. I think maybe "|C" means color and then somehow the other 4 characters are for the color, but i've tried lots of things and its always orange for me. Someone else mess with it and try to figure it out. Also found out that if you put the "|Cxxxx" in the middle of your name then the text before it will be blue and the text after will be orange. "My|CxxxxName" will give you MyName And if you put just the "|" anywhere in your name, the the whole name will be blue. Wierd random crap.

Before you type your message, key in the characters |ccc| ( for the vertical lines, hold shift and hit the key right above the enter key ) After you have typed in |ccc|, hit the space key and then type in your message. When you have typed in your message, hit the enter key and watch as your message should now show up in the delicious orange font!
