I tryed it one day, and it works.... dont know about todays newer technology chips but athlon xp all the way to pentum it has worked.....
July 11, 200519 yr Author He must have had a chip that physically allowed him to do that whenever i fuckup a bios with a incorrect flash, i just find another computer with a similar chip, boot dos on a floppy with the original bios and pull its chip out while the computer is running and insert the one i fucked up.... pretty easy.... I tryed it one day, and it works.... dont know about todays newer technology chips but athlon xp all the way to pentum it has worked..... the olders BIOS chips do allow you to insert them backwards. i found this out while fucking around with an old mobo, and I did this by accident and read about ti afterwards lol. But if he would know how to do this.... he owuld know that inserting the chip in by reverse is completely stupid. I was glad to be quick enough to write the stupid page to fool him lol.
